GOD RETURNS IN ONE WEEK
We don't know when the Lord will return, but we are told to be ready when He does (Luke 12:40).

If you somehow knew that God was coming back one week from today, and the world as we know it would end ... how would that change how you're living right now?

This is something I've been thinking about. And, I'll give you my 3 tomorrow.

Hmmmmm. I would:

1. Take the week off from work to spend time with my family. I'd have to borrow the leave, but THAT sure would be irrelevant in 8 days.

2. Pray. A lot. And very seriously.

3. There are some people that I would definitely need to have a God conversation with.

I'd stop the snippy comments that kill the love. :)

I would quit job hunting. I would spend as much time with family and friends as I could.

And, above all, I would most certainly, without ANY doubt...win the lottery!

1. Spend time with those I know well who are not right with God (even though I would waste some time travelling, but that could be a road trip with wife and kids)

2. i would read my Bible less and prayer more

3. I would spend every dollar of mine and/or the churches to get people's attention to spiritual matters and Salvation.

I wouldn't watch TV, or blog. but I might still read.

1. I'm with Brian on spending every dime I could to try to communicate God's love and hope.

2. I'm pretty relationship oriented right now but I would certainly spend time with people in htis communication process.

3. (under the topic of what I'd do differently) We all sin. We struggle and even when we fall down we get back up and go on. But, I think it would be easier to not struggle if the end were in sight. Some time I feel like a long distance runner. Fixing our eyes on Jesus and the prize is harder when I am not sure when it is coming round the bend. If I knew Jesus was coming I would like to think I would be more decisive in my life and avoid more struggles.

1. I wouldn't type the church bulletin this week!

2. I would spend more time in worship and cut off my TV, internet and electronic distractions. (getting level 70 doesn't seem so important.)

3. Spend every waking moment with my wife, son, friends and family.

1) I would talk about Jesus at work a lot more.

2) I would talk about Jesus at the store a lot more.

3) I would pray that God would raise up workers for the harvest.

-----

I would stop worrying about tomorrow.

in HIS love,
Nick

I think I would giggle with friends about how great it would be when Jesus comes!

I would squeeze the people I love and then thank them for being people I love

There are a couple of people I would call one more time just to tell them how important it is to have Jesus on your side!

1. Tell my Children and Wife how blessed we are

2. Spend every penny I had showing, teaching, pleading with anyone and everyone to repent

3. Pray instead of sleep

I think I would stop doing my Taxes

THanks Trey it is nice to stop and think about Heaven and Jesus coming back.

1. Go camping with my family enjoying God's beauty here on earth

2. Visit my favorite places on Earth and marvel at the beauty

3. Talk about the beauty of Heaven to anyone that will listen.
