TAGGED AGAIN!
Thanks to my ex-buddy Gilbert (kidding), I’ve been tagged, again!
Here are the questions that I'm supposed to answer...
What I was doing 10 years ago: I was living the dream, baby. I was getting to preach every Sunday, minister to a great community of people, I was married to a smoking hot wife and I was watching some amazing boys grow up. Oh wait, that's what I'm still doing today. YES!
Five things on my to do list for today:

What I was doing 10 years ago: I was living the dream, baby. I was getting to preach every Sunday, minister to a great community of people, I was married to a smoking hot wife and I was watching some amazing boys grow up. Oh wait, that's what I'm still doing today. YES!
Five things on my to do list for today:
- Finish 3 lessons for a weekend at the Lakeside Church in Mansfield, Texas.
- Pick up shirts and hats for the T-ball team I'm coaching. (I live such an exciting life).
- Apologize to my secretary for missing Secretary's Day this past Wednesday. No one told me that Secretary's Day had been changed and is now being called, "Administrative Professional Day." What's up with the name change? Can we not just have secretaries anymore? Do they have to have some fancy title? Next thing you know the good people who clean the church building will no longer be called custodians, but Maintenance Engineers. Sheesh!
- Check on a few of my favorite bloggers.
- Watch the Rangers play the Twins tonight at the Ballpark in Arlington.
Things I would do if I were a billionaire:
- Give a ton of it to missionaries, world missions and world hunger.
- Not let Lea spend even a penny on shoes (Ha, Lea!)
- Put some back for my children’s educations.
- Buy the Texas Rangers and finally put a winning team on the field.
- Talladega Super Speedway here I come ... Yee Haw!
- I drink too much coffee.
- I've got a weakness for spending money on cool gadgets like this one. But I really needed it, honest I did!
- Smoking, drinking and dancing. Oh yea, I gave those up last week. Okay, I'm still dancing, but don't tell anyone!
Five places I have lived:
- Mobieetie, Texas
- Amarillo, Texas
- Lubbock, Texas
- Tulia, Texas
- Childress, Texas
Five jobs I have had:
- A Sacker at a supermarket (until they found out I was only 15. I needed the cash).
- Sold athletic shoes at a store in the mall (awesome job).
- Managed a frozen yogurt store.
- Paramedic
- Youth minister and pulpit minister.
Five People I Want to Know More About:
- Brian Nicklaus (My arachnophobic friend)
- Shawn Williams (A fairly new blogger)
- Ray Young (My old youth rally speaking buddy)
- Terry Laudett (A pretty nice Okie)
- Craig Hicks (Tagged my buddy Craig, because he'll say something that makes me laugh. He always does.)

you can start getting to know me better by spelling my name correctly.
nicklaus
lol. i actually usually don't comment when people mispell either of my names, but had to pick on you.
does this mean i am tagged, and need to answer th same questions?
okay
Shoot, I knew that. That's called "rushing a post so you can get going on a very busy day."
Does this mean that you like John Dobbs' blog better than mine now? :)
Same questions big boy!
I'll send you a map of the other 49 states so you know they exist.
Thanks ... I've got to get out more.
You mentioned custodians. My father was a janitor during the depression when I was born. I was a secretary for many years, and didn't know I was an administrative assistant.
Like you, if I were a millionaire (won the PCH or RD sweepstakes, I would spend most of it helping missionaries. Have to pay our debts, too. But guess if I were a millionaare, I wouldn't have debts. ;-)
Yes, you do need to get out more (out of Texas) and see the rest of the world, although I was told while living in Lubbock, that I would have to go through DFW airport to get to heaven since that was the only way to get anywhere from there.
(Tried sending this twice. Hope it goes through this time.)
now some people won't realize you corrected my name and will assume th the correct spelling is wrong,
thanks alot, again!
:)

I enjoyed this post...it is always nice to learn alittle more about people...I didn't know you lived in Mobeetie...that is so cool...did you grow up there? We enjoyed living in Wheeler...especially as the football coach...have a great weekend...steph
Yo Dawg,
Someone already beat me to the whole "you got to get out more" line. I second it!
Smoking, drinking, dancing, and lying about your age! Wow, maybe we need to be ex-blogging buddies. You may corrupt my blogging mind. Ha!
Jeanne - glad it went through :) Thanks for being patient.
Brian - Ha .. anything to make you look a little crazy
Stephanie - I lived in Mobeetie when I was a little boy. I honestly don't remember much about it. I knew it was close to Wheeler.
Gilbert - I need to come spend some time with you. You're a world traveler. I just go to Dallas every now and then.
My wife "complained" about me buying her a GPS ... but now we use it all the time and she loves it! They are not as much a gadget these days as a necessity. Especially for the directionally challenged of whom I reign supreme.
I'll try to respond to your tag soon. Thanks, Trey!
Good stuff there Trey. Sorry I haven't read your blog in such a long time. I promise read you more. You have a lot of great insights. Interesting stuff here too. Where is Mobieetie, TX located? In TX I guess. God bless!
Believe it or not Trey, you are now the third person I have known of who lived in Mobeetie! So that's gotta be what... about one fourth of the total population there? Yep, I pass thru Mobeetie, Wheeler, etc, a couple of times a year, heading back home from Tulsa to Clayton, NM.
Hey, enjoy the Rangers game this weekend!! I'm jealous. We made it down there last summer for a couple of games vs the Astros. Good stuff!!
Trey, why is it that I find some Preachers are just better with Teenagers and young ones and not so well with adults? Trey, did you have to pay for the web design on your blog? Finnaly, I met a Christian Woman From Indiana and Shes Awesome! :) Trey This is the one! :) Her name is Jen and 31. ;) Pray for me my friend!
Van ... you know people everywhere! :) You've probably been to Mobeetie since I have. It's been a long time for me.
...there's such a thing as too much coffee...?
