THE DENTIST
- Cooper's favorite breakfast? Sugary cinnamon toast - .10 cents
- Cooper's favorite bag of snacks? Sugary Candy - $2.00
- Cooper's favorite drink (especially at bedtime)? Chocolate Milk - $1.00
- Four cavities found by the dentist this week in Cooper's mouth? Not Priceless

So I know where my economic stimulus check is going. What are you going to spend your money on?

I am right there with you. We have spent over $2,000 on Madison's baby teeth. She has had about 13 cavities. We brush and brush but she has deep ridges in her teeth. Hope everything went ok with his dentist appointment.
It won't be a dentist! When our daughter still had her baby teeth an orthodontist wanted to put her in a retainer! I said, "You've got to be kidding me! You want me to spend thousands of dollars on teeth that are coming out in a couple of years??" We didn't and she has the prettiest teeth of anyone in the family.
Tax refund is paying off the credit cards (woo hoo!). The extra is probably going to some exciting home improvement projects. We are also putting some aside for or church's global missions program.
Either that or crystal donkey figurines.
probably I will put it aside to help pay self employment taxes. Aint that a kicker.
I'm paying for car insurance!
I've spent it about a gajillion different ways in my head, but the vast majority of it is going to pay down the balance on the credit card we had to use way too much when our second jobs hit a dry spell over the winter. Not pay OFF, mind you.
We're not being entirely responsible adults, though, because I'm taking a little bit of it to get professional pictures made of Noah. Pictures of my favorite little man = fine art!
Tax rebate goes to pay taxes, what else?
As someone said, more than a stimulus for the economy, it's a stimulus for the postal service. First they sent out those stupid notices telling us that we would get a rebate. Then they don't let us subtract it straight off our taxes. That gives the postman something else to do. Which we pay for with our taxes. Which...
We're supposed to get the $1,200 stimulus ... we'll probably use it for a couple of tanks of gas in the car.
we are paying our credit cards.
I thought we would probably be applying most of it to our daughter's wedding next month. That was before I took our Mazda Tribute in for it's 60,000 mile service today. Including 4 new tires, that little service trip is going to set me back about $1,300. About $100 more than my stimulus check! I guess she'll have to postpone the wedding now. ;)
Well, there is the little speeding ticket we got last month....and hookups for new utilities...I guess with the remainder I will fly to Hawaii... (on the wings of a snow white dove...)
IS there a health risk caused by cavities in baby teeth?
Stimulus package is going to eye-care and books!
Umm... are those related?
I was going to actually stimulate the economy and buy a digital SLR camera but now I think it will go into my savings account and slowly be funneled into my checking account as I buy food and gas for the rest of the year.
Living paycheck to paycheck doesn't leave room for inflation the extra has to come from somewhere might as well be the Gov't. Since they took it from me in the first place.
I looked like a bad parent, when Aidan had his first cavity. I asked "They are only baby teeth why are we filling them?" Apparently they are important for the new teeth coming in...
Trey -
That is a darling picture of your little son! How could such an angelic looking little kid be so full of cavities, it makes you wonder?!
Our rebate is going to pay toward one credit card bill that we owe. Something important came up that we had to cover and haven't gotten it paid off quite yet, so will do that.
Cheers & Blessings to you all today from Abilene, where I'm visiting my mom!

we haven't decided what to do with our check yet... not counting our chickens and all like that ya know....
I'm going to use some of it to print my digital pictures so that my youngest child knows that we actually DO have pictures of him also. :)
Or maybe I'll just buy a digital picture frame. :)
It looks like I may be using it for Goll-blader surgery.
The extra money will be spent on a senior trip with my son and some friends zip lining and white water rafting. I am going to face my fear of heights!!!
Connor is so precious, spend what-ever is necessary. I don't know what our money will be spent on. Our elders have challenged all the members to give half of theirs to
help pay off the mortgage on our building. We would like to and maybe we will some of it. But we are on a limited income and have high expenses on our home, insurance, medical bills, etc. We pay our way, and have good credit rating. We also know about "casting
your bread on the water", some decisions are hard to make. We are already committed to some mission
work. Any suggestions from the wise man or his readers?. gmj
Poor Coop.....I am still a scaredy cat when it comes to the dentist.

You know, Trey, studies have shown that foods high in sugar can cause increased brain function. What is a couple of cavities to a super genius.
Sorry Coopman! ... and dad!
I will be using our money to pay for electricity! Our bill shot up 6 times what it normally would be due to an avalanche hitting the hydro-electric dam. It will be about 1000.00 more than normal each month until it is fixed (about a year to fix it). Ouch!
