On this blog you'll find my thoughts about life, marriage, family, raising children, Christian community, the mission of Christ and the life God intended for us all. I am a Christian husband & father who has served as a minister for the past 20 years. My wife Lea and I have been married for 19 years. We are doing our best to raise our 4 awesome boys, who are all growing up way too fast. I currently preach for the Childress Church of Christ in Childress, Texas.

Ha! Have you seen those replica light sabers with real Star Wars sound effects that Sharper Image is selling? If not click here
because they are so cool!
Well, and I'm not joking, I can not wait until Tate gets older so that we can play Star Wars with those things!
I've discovered that one of the greatest things about having a child is that it gives me the opportunity (or excuse, rather!) to act like a child every once in a while!
Great video - thanks for sharing!

Hey do we get paid for that...they copied my husband and boys.
i like it! oh and clay is soo mad i read your blog and found out about the romantic homework. so now every little thing he does he asks, "was that romantic..?" told ya he wasn't romantic. but a great dad he is! despite the broken leg... happens to the best of us!
I cherish those times with the boys. If there is one thing I would want to be sucessful at or be known for it would be being a great father to my 3 sons. My boys are at the age now that I love playing with them. It is so much fun and the memories that they will have as they look back at their childhood can say, "I was loved."
Great!
at first all i could think was either he's gonna break that window or.... he's gonna' put an eye out with that thing. Love it
