WHAT I DID ON MY THANKSGIVING BREAK by Trey Morgan
I remember in 5th grade doing a paper on "What I did on my Thanksgiving break." Although I can't remember exactly what I did then, I thought I'd share a few things we did this year.
We enjoyed spending Thanksgiving at Lea's brother's house in the Dallas area. It was our year to spend Thanksgiving with Lea's family. This was our first Thanksgiving without Taylor. He made the decision to come home for Christmas this year and stay in Miami for Thanksgiving. With him gone this year, I got a better understanding why "family" plays such a big role in making Thanksgiving special. Also Lea's father, Stan, didn't get to come. He's been having some heart problems, and his doctor told him at the last minute he couldn't go. He's much better now that he had a pacemaker put in on Friday.
It was a great weekend with my favorite "F's" ... family, food, fun, football and fellowship. We spent the day eating, visiting and watching the Dallas Cowboys. I can't remember a Thanksgiving with more desserts than this one.
On Friday we all went to Christmas in the Park at Six Flags. The park was decorated with Christmas lights, etc. Here are a few pictures from our weekend and time at Six Flags.
We spent a lot of time playing pool.
Cooper waiting to get into Six Flags.

Hanging with Sylvester.
Hanging with the Superheroes, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern. I was wishing I had a cool Superhero name.
Although it was above freezing, Six Flags made snow for sledding.
Lea and Parker on the Superman.
Another with Sylvester.
Connor, Bugs and Me.
I hope you had a great Thanksgiving.

You had more fun ... but we did have a good day with friends and our daughter was home, which is always a good time for us. I managed to get some lights on the house late Sunday afternoon and into the evening. Much more decorating left to do.
Looks like you had a nice mix of fun on your Thanksgiving.
We fried 2 birds, ate coca-cola cake, son was home from college, we played golf, watch (and heard the sonic booms) the Space Shuttle land, and watched our local high school (defending State 3A champs) football team when their second round game 29 - 0.
Oh, there was some game they played in Gainsville, Fl. when wasn't much of a game at all.
did Jel make a crude comment about wonder woman's thighs??
in that case, I won't say anything.
NO jel didn't ! she don't look at woman's thighs! :?
Jel didn't say anything about WW's thighs ... nor will I. :)
We did have a lot of desserts! That's what happens when 4 people are in charge of desserts! It was nice to see everyone, just wish all of us could have been there!
